Mohammed Jallow
UEFA B Licenced Coach
My coaching journey began whilst studying in sixth form with County in the Community, I played football alongside studying my Btec Sport which was equivalent to 3 A levels. County in the Community helped me obtain my FAW badges and an opportunity to study my Foundation Degree whilst also working full time with them as Assistant Premier League kicks coordinator, my role included helping to grow female participation in football, I delivered football lessons in Primary across Newport and had opportunities to coach at there College programme also. I believe my diverse experience enables me to work with all different types of players of all abilities.
I hold a BSc in Football Coaching and Development, UEFA B License for youth and senior, FAW Safeguarding and Football leaders award. I have also currently start d studying my masters in Advanced Football Performance and Coaching, I am also proud to announce that I was accepted for my UEFA A License which will begin in April 2024. For the past 2 years, I have been coaching at academy level after transitioning from community coaching at County in the Community.
My passion lies in player development, building connections through the game of football, working within academy setups and reaching the high level possible in the sport. Through MJ Coaching, I have worked with players from grass roots level all the way to professional level, I have successfully helped players transition from grassroots to academy football, and helped professional players with off season work to prepare for new season. In total I have worked with over 100 players of all different ages since starting MJ Coaching in 2021 through our individual sessions, group sessions, teams sessions and school delivery.
